Our Ecosystem

Neurotrials is based within the Paris Brain Institute (ICM), a European leader in neurosciences, itself located at the heart of the Pitié Salpêtrière University Hospital.

As such, Neurotrials can work close to a professional investigational site, the neurosciences Clinical Investigation Center  (CIC) dedicated to clinical research in neurological and psychiatric disorders, located in the Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital.

Our close connexion with the Neurosciences University and Medical Department of Sorbonne University (DMU) grants us access to Key opinions leaders and significant patient cohorts affected by common but also rare neurological and psychiatric diseases, in particular thanks to various National Reference Centers.

Through this unique network of expertise and operational teams, Neurotrials offers excellence in scientific consulting and clinical trials to its customers.

ICM : Brain & Spine institute

The Paris Brain Institute  (ICM) is an international neuroscience research center whose innovative concept and structure make it the only institute of its kind in the world.

The ICM brings patients, medical doctors and basic science researchers together with the aim of rapidly developing treatments for disorders of the nervous system and enable patients to benefit from them as quickly as possible.

Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital

The Pitié Salpêtrière University Hospital is a public health care facility which is part of the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP).

The Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital is the largest hospital group in France, providing local and specialized services, teaching and research.

Located in the heart of the 13th arrondissement of Paris, it comprises 90 buildings spread over 33 hectares, with 77 departments representing all existing medical activities.

Neuroscience Clinical Investigation Center (CIC)

The neuroscience clinical investigation center (CIC) is the only French platform dedicated to nervous system diseases, with their own premises and trained staff for neurological and psychiatric clinical research under optimal conditions of quality ethics and safety.

The Neurosciences CIC, an investigational site, works closely with the physicians of the Nervous System Diseases Department, the research teams of the Paris Brain Institute (ICM), and the drug industry for therapeutic trials.

The studies carried out (about 100 studies each year, half of which are therapeutic trials) aim to better understand the pathologies that affect the nervous system, and to offer patients access to innovative therapies.
